Instruments are an important part of Beepbox. While the presets are expansive, they may not be what you're looking for. Luckily, you can edit instruments.

The main tool you'll be using to edit how an instrument sounds is the EQ filter. Low passes dampen high frequencies, High passes dampen low frequencies, and peaks boost frequencies.

You can also use the Fade tool to give your instruments a fading effect. There's also wave types, the Unison tool (which changes how chords sound), and the Transition tool, which changes how notes overlap.
